We Love Arlington Texas!

Arlington is one of the most entertaining cities in Texas with sports stadiums, shopping, restaurants, and amusement parks.

Arlington contains the Globe Life Park, the AT&T Stadium, the Parks mall, The Highland shopping area, Six Flags Over Texas, Hurricane Harbor, and, of course, Fireman Roofing, just to name just a few great things in the city we love.

Between baseball season and football season there is very little time in the year that you could not catch your favorite sports team.

The Texas Rangers play at the Globe Life Park on Ballpark Way. Games are several times a week during baseball season and often have fireworks afterwards.

When the Rangers are done hitting home runs for the season, the Cowboys storm the turf. The Dallas Cowboys, named “America’s Team”, play at the AT&T Stadium, not even a ten minute drive from the Rangers stadium. Concerts are also regularly held at the AT&T Stadium.

Not a huge sports fan? Not a problem. Those teams are just two things of many to do in Arlington.

The Parks Mall in Arlington is a favorite among locals. There is fun for all ages here! There are popular stores like Dillard’s, Macy’s, Sephora, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Bath and Body Works, Barnes & Nobles, and many more.

Along with the shopping there are also fun things to do around the mall. Enjoy bowling with family and friends at Round 1, located at the bottom level. Spend the day ice skating at the mall’s ice rink. Take your kiddos on a carousel ride in the food court. Take your date to see a movie at the AMC theater.

If you’re hungry, take your pick of restaurant in their food court, with choices like Panda Express, Sonic, Chick-fil-A and many more.

Just outside of the mall, next to Barnes & Nobles, enjoy a slice of cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory.

A short drive from the Parks at Arlington is the Arlington Highlands. There you will find even more shopping and restaurants. Some favorites are Torchy’s Tacos, McAlister’s Deli, P.F. Chang’s, and the Melting Pot Restaurant. Enjoy a night at Dave and Buster’s or dine and watch at Studio Movie Grill.

You will find several stores you love like James Avery, Charming Charlie’s, LOFT, Ulta, Old Navy, and many, many more.

If you’re a thrill seeker, head down to Six Flags Over Texas. Six Flags Over Texas is being updated with new rides every year! This year the Joker was introduced to us, a roller coaster that will spin you as you ride on the track. This is just one ride that has a high thrill level. There is also the Mr. Freeze, the Riddler, the Texas Giant, the Superman, and the Titan. If you just plain can’t stomach high thrill rides, enjoy smaller rides around the park. La Vibora, the Gunslinger, or the Antique Cars are a few attractions better for those who prefer calmer but still fun rides. For the kids, Bugs Bunny Boomtown is the place to be! You can let your kiddos loose in the playground area, or take them on rides like the Cloud Bouncer, Speedy Gonzales’ Truckin’ Across America, and Wile E. Coyote's Grand Canyon Blaster.

Owned by Six Flags is Hurricane Harbor, a few minutes away on the other side of the highway. Here you can enjoy a wave pool, a lazy river, and several water slides both mild and extreme! Great way to relax and make the Texas heat a little more bearable! Whether young or old, Arlington, Texas is the place to be! We love this town.
